What we love usually defines us. I love Jesus and His word grounds me. I love my husband of forty-five years, and his strength supports me. I love my special son, Matt, and his determination humbles me. I love my daughters, Stacy and Holly. Their faith reinforces me. I love my grandchildren whose lives give me joy.
I was raised in a family that loved music, laughter and good stories. We had breakfast together every morning and at night we visited around the supper table. We went to church every Sunday, for certain, and most Wednesday nights.
I loved those folks. They gave me tradition.
I taught for nearly thirty years. I loved my students. They gave me purpose.
The purpose of this blog is to help replace the angst of a weary world with hope from faith stories and entries from Mother’s prayer journals, and it led to my first book, In My Mother’s Words.
My newest book is a devotional, Heart Whispers from the Old Testament, and is available on Kindle or through my Amazon Author’s Page below.
